Amazon Web Services Tutorial

Welcome to our Amazon Web Services Tutorial. In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to launch a virtual server using Amazon Web Services.

There’s a service being provided in AWS called EC2, which stands for Elastic Compute Cloud. It is a web service where an AWS subscriber can request the publishing of a complete server in AWS cloud. An on-demand EC2 instance, which basically stands for a working server, is an operation on AWS where the subscriber and user can rent the virtual server per hour and use it to deploy his/her own applications.

So this is AWS Management Console which you can see after logging into your AWS account. These are the basic services which are provided using an AWS. This is compute, this is storage. So right now inside Compute, we are going to use EC2.
